Ladislav Bartoš (*1949)

Bartoš is a Czech photographer and painter based in Prague and in Zürich. Since the beginning of his career, he has been fascinated by realism and the exactness of photography. As a painter, he strived to achieve the same level of faithfulness of form and later began to combine painting with photography. He often achieves the end result working with computer technologies, printing it on hand-made paper and either sticking the print to an aluminum board or just hanging in freely in space. Bartoš has created objects often using 3D printing methods and in Zürich he has created several installations in public space. He has exhibited his work in galleries in Zürich, Prague, but also New York, Washington D.C. or in Poland. 

Bartoš je český fotograf a malíř, žije a pracuje v Praze a v Curychu. Od počátku své kariéry ho fascinoval realismus a přesnost fotografie. Ve své malířské tvorbě se snažil dosáhnout stejné úrovně věrnosti formy a později začal kombinovat malbu s fotografií. Jeho díla jsou často vytvářena za pomoci počítačových technologií, tisknuta na ruční papír, tisky jsou pak buď nalepeny na hliníkové desky nebo jsou volně zavěšeny do prostoru. Bartoš také tvoří objekty metodou 3D tisku a v Curychu vytvořil řadu instalací ve veřejném prostoru. Vystavoval galeriích v Curychu a Praze, ale také v New Yorku, Washingtonu nebo v Polsku.
